So victini uses his powers to make him lose everything on the next round and sends him back out the door w nothing.

I’ll have to slow down at some point on that Submas Grind, but the hyperfixation throes are REAL. Thank you for inhabiting the tunnels with me! People that tag and cheer artists on are the real mvps of the art economy.

As for twin dragon aus!

I’ve always seen Emmet as more zekrom esque, and Ingo more reshiram esque. Is it cause the typing matches their starters? Maybe, hehe.

Ultimately though, the guys are too multifaceted for me to easily split them into truth and ideals.

I also see the legendaries as Eldritch Abominations Beyond Understanding, so having the dragons in my iteration become the twins would, uh, have consequences. The funny goofy story would dip into horror territory instead. (Reshiram demands only truths, and anything not Absolute will burn. And zekrom’s ideals are beyond human understanding, and trying to understand the mad tangle of thunder would drive somebody insane.)

((Also N’s a scary mofo for summoning reshiram. I’m digging directly into the whole “twin heroes have a civil war and it destroyed unova” backstory that pokemon set up, and the more I think about it the stronger my dread mounts at the idea of Zekrom OR Reshiram casually flying overhead.

But this is also just how I see the legendaries of the pokemon world! Lugia sinks islands. Groudon covers towns. Arceus loves the mortal world, and mourns because its immortality only brings grief. Giritina hates, because it’s the ghostly remains of every one of Arceus’s mistakes given drive, banished into the distortion realm. Normal stuff!)

You sly dog, you got me monologing! But here’s the tldr: Not sure i’ll ever make my own serious Dragon AU that follows my internal world building for pokemon. I’m too attached to my favorite trope: “the smallest people can still initiate the biggest of changes”, and I’m too attached to my other favorite trope: “legendaries are actually gods and you Should Be Frightened.”

So that’s why, in this essay, if the trio gets turned into pokemon, I’d make them route 1 run of the mill rats. Because rats can do whatever they want.

(Plus, patrats and pachirisu aren’t banned from the subway battles last I checked.)

If i had to make a goofy crack dragon au though, I think this would be the result:

The whole story would just be the trio and historians trying to figure out what the hell the twins got turned into, and concerns of other people becoming pokemon as well. So far, people are convinced they’re a paradox version of an archen. (I mean…)

okay so! i asked if ya’ll wanted to see my other submas aus that had things already written for them, some people expressed interest, sorry for not posting this sooner i was super scared to do this but i think i can do this now.... also i can’t link stuff so i’ll put down the tag i’ll use/have used for the writings for these aus. now that iv’e cleared things up ill list my aus  Robo emmet au  about: After Emmet had been attacked and killed by a wild Zoroark after visiting lostlorn forest without his pokemon, Ingo rebuilds Emmet as a robot out of desperation, adding a few things to the robot to make emmet more safe than he was before, including an internal pokedex, a “lost mode”, an internal reminder to not leave the house without pokeballs and some self defence mechanisims, things kick off when emmet returns from “vacation” and ingo realises emmet is more protective than normal..... (might have a pla arc)  chapters; 4 (the first three are very short)  -My robo emmet au  -Elesa asks too many questions  -Welcome back emmet  -Emmet returns (and gets mad)  all the works are tagged with #robo emmet au  Mythical fusion au  about: after being kidnapped by team plasma Emmet and Ingo are fused with victini and meloetta in a normally fatal experiment, after they escape they realise they have new quirks, desperate to not be captured by team plasma again they hide these quirks and move houses every week around the unova region while still working as subway bosses in the daytime and trying to hide this fact from everyone else as well  No chapters posted yet  will be tagged #mythical fusion au #victini!emmet #meloetta!ingo  Making new friends au about: After ingo and emmet get weirdly worded texts asking them to meet a friend in different places their tracks are seperated and they both are on a new adventure. no, just annoying lmao. i block people who clog the tags i consistently check with posts i don’t like, and i’ve been doing that a lot since Lusamine is relevant again and everyone wants to fill her tag with their two cents about how she shouldn’t be in the game at all, that whoever enjoys her character and seeing the logical progression of stuff hinted at in the main series games play out is a child abuse apologist or whatever, etc...i'm just trying to vibe here and see all the new content she got so i can form my own opinion on it and they’re really harshing my vibe so i’m auto-sending them all to the Shadow Realm lmao

okayokay but like. how did arceus get so mortally injured? was it part of giratina/volo's plan? was it just... the warring of the trio scarred reality that badly? and now even they can't fix it. (also do the trio remember past resets? do they Know what's up with arceus/will they help you at all?)

also also also. leans forward. the IMPLICATIONS of the nobles, the ones Blessed By Judgement, and their Chosen Wardens, being taken to this place-of-no-place—as a temporary filler for the void left behind by the true arceus' death, since they hold a tiny shadow of its power? as part of the fallout of the world being unable to handle the source of their power biting it? and then recovering the ten blessed also slowly returns your baby arceus' power, since they were all entrusted with pieces of it... mmm yesss

and that plot!! oooh okay if it is that they're standing in as pieces of Actual God in this like, alternate layer of reality, then it makes total sense that everything is reflecting them��they run this show! they're a deity in this localized bit of The Fabric! except this is completely fucking new to them and also being split between both noble and warden so it isn't quite stable. does this make any sense.

would love if in this arceus-route, it's more the nobles that get character exploration/development, with the wardens acting more as guides, since they already sort of Did Their Stuff in the other three routes. (maybe they start to regain memories of the past realities as time goes on?) and since the nobles are direct heirs of arceus' power, with their wardens being more like, adjacent to it, it would make sense if higher-reality was sort of prioritizing the pokemon. and having arceus as a partner gives the protag some sort of power to communicate with them...

(also even if it is mostly noble-based i still want sneasler/ingo's sublevel to just be like. everyone's playing up the "what a bizarre location, like an infinite cave system, and yet it's so strangely linear and structured" and it's just like a regular ass train station. maybe the train station acts as a hub area somehow?)

does the order of nobles change AGAIN in this route, too? maybe based on how easy-to-access their rifts are?

and then what's the counterpart doing now! are they just tagging along with you through the whole route? are you like co-protagonisting? that's very fun

and YES expanded dex. mew. celebi?? victini?? make fairy baby daycare a reality. fuck it just throw in ALL the god-type legendaries, with the justification that you're like restructuring an entire pantheon after the central god-figure died and was reborn
